We built ReadyFactor because “I think we’re ready” isn’t a system.
Setup is the part of an event nobody photographs. It happens in the ninety minutes before anyone arrives, across rooms that can’t see each other, run by people who mostly volunteered. Then someone says “we’re good” — and everyone finds out whether that was true at the worst possible moment.
What we’re actually building
A shared answer to one question: is the room ready? Not a project manager, not a chat app, not another place to keep a list nobody opens. ReadyFactor turns a setup into a live run — the space split into zones, each zone’s work visible while there is still time to do something about it, and a record at the end of what actually happened.
The constraint that shapes every decision: the people doing the work did not sign up for software. A helper scans a code, types a first name, and is working within seconds — no app store, no password, no account. If a tool asks a volunteer to create an account before they can move a chair, it has already failed.
Why an invite-only pilot
We’re working directly with a small number of setup crews before opening this more broadly, so the product is built on what actually happens in a room, not a guess. Every invite is reviewed by a person, and we bring teams in at a pace where we can still answer them individually.
That’s slower than opening the doors. It also means the things we fix are the things that broke on a real Sunday morning, in a real basement, on somebody’s cracked phone with two bars of signal.
What the room taught us
Three things we didn’t design for and had to learn. Connectivity is worse than anyone plans for — church basements, tents and borrowed venues eat Wi-Fi, so the run keeps recording on the device and syncs when the signal returns. Crews change every week, so the product can never assume the person holding the phone has seen it before. And “done” is a claim, not a fact — which is why sign-off is a deliberate act with a name and a time attached to it, not a checkbox anyone can wave through.
Where we are
ReadyFactor is in active pilot with live setup crews right now. There is no pricing yet — we’re still learning what a team needs before we decide what it costs, and we would rather get that order right than guess at a number early.
What you won’t find on this site
No customer logos we haven’t earned, no testimonials we wrote ourselves, no invented numbers about how many teams use this. The product videos on this site are recordings of the real product doing real work — including a readiness report that reads NOT READY, because that run genuinely had outstanding items. A tool whose job is to tell you the truth about a room should not start by shading the truth about itself.
